Is this creepy enough?

This piece  was for my Puppets and Prosthetics class. Materials include found plastic doll hands, lace, ribbon, and buttons. The assignment was to somehow change, alter, subvert, etc. the human form, a follow up to our nose project on the concept of identity. I have always been fascinated by the elegance and femininity of my hands and fingers, having been told I have nice hands since I was a child and started studying piano. People always say they wish they had more hands, but is it really all that helpful or more of a hinderance? I had a lot of fun with this piece, and while I felt rather out of my element, I call it a success.
